GELATO CAKE PRE-ORDER TERM & CONDITIONS

 

GELATO CAKE STORAGE

 

We guarantee that your gelato cake will be frozen at the time of collection and should remain in perfect condition for up to 15 minutes after collection.  Please ensure that you place your cake straight into a freezer at -18^oC as soon as possible after collection and definitely within 20 minutes.  Please note that we are unable to guarantee the condition of your cake after this time.

 

Store your cakes in the freezer at -18°C until you’re ready to enjoy them. Once out of the freezer, they can stay at room temperature for up to 15 minutes. After this, you’ll need to put them back in the freezer to keep them in top shape.

 

ORDERING AND PAYMENT

 

We require at least 3 working days’ notice for all gelato cake orders. Payment must be made in full when placing your order.

 

If there’s a cake you’d like that’s not listed on our website, feel free to use the Enquiry Form to make a request, and we’ll see what we can do!

 

CHANGING OR CANCELLING YOUR ORDER

 

If you need to change or cancel your order, please get in touch as soon as possible and AT LEAST 3 full working days before your collection date.  We will do our best to accommodate any changes however, if we have already started preparing your cake, this may not be possible.

 

Orders cancelled within 3 days of the collection date are not eligible for a refund, but please reach out and we’ll try to work something out if we can.

 

RETURNS

 

Please check your order BEFORE you leave the gelateria and note that once your product leaves the premises, we are unable to accept any returns. 

 

We will note the time of collection of your cake and cannot take responsibility for the condition of any product kept outside of the freezer for longer than 20 minutes.

 

**If your journey home will take longer than 20 minutes, please discuss this with us prior to ordering.

 

REFUNDS

 

If there is any issue with your cake, please email us at gelatistry@gmail.com within 24 hours of collection.  Include photo(s) and a description of the problem.  We will come back to you and work with you to find a solution.

 

At our discretion, refunds, store credit, or a replacement cake of equal value may be offered.

 

COLLECTION

 

All gelato cakes are collection-only from our gelateria located at 1 St Julians Crescent, SY1 1UD, Shrewsbury. Please double-check your collection date when you place your order.

 

ALLERGENS

 

All our products are made in an open environment that handles MILK, TREE NUTS, EGG, GLUTEN, SOY, SESAME, PEANUTS and SULPHITES While we do our best to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens.

 

If you have severe allergies, please consider this carefully before placing an order.
